Stress Free Holiday
Tips

For the holidays, here are some tips for making the season stress-free and within budget - - a great way to set the stage for your success in 2003!
1. Spend time thinking about and visioning a stress-free holiday.
2. Examine your vision to see what activities or purchases you could eliminate and/or what new elements you could include to create a stress-free holiday.
3. After doing 1) and 2), make a list of the items and activities you would normally buy or do, or think of buying or doing, for the holiday season.
4. Review this list carefully and place each item in one of three categories: Necessary, Nice, or Neither.
5. Take action on the items in the Necessary category.
6. Do not act on the items in the Neither category.
7. Only act on the items in the Nice category if you feel like it, and it isn't adding negative stress to your time or budget.
8. If you have a long list of people that you are thinking of buying presents for, review the list of names carefully to see if you can take some off the list, or simplify the gift buying.
9. Ways to simplify gift buying include: shopping early online, selecting a couple of gifts that are really wonderful, but inexpensive, and give the same gift, or a variation of it, to several on your list.
10. Prepare for success in the New Year so that your mind is at ease and you can enjoy the holidays without worry about success steps that aren't getting done. One of the best ways to do this is to call for a complimentary
